Alison Nipperess

Principal Psychologist

Alison has over 17 years experience in treating mental health conditions and working with individuals to develop self awareness and resilience. Alison has a special interest in PTSD and treating individuals who have experienced trauma, including veterans. 

 

Alison has a speciality in child psychology. She works with children in areas of anxiety, OCD, trauma, childhood depression, self-harm, Autism, ADHD,& behavioural difficulties.

 

This work also involves helping parents to get to a place of calmness & strength through focused parenting strategies, nurturing and resilience building. 

Alison also has training and expertise in clinical diagnostic assessment & learning/ educational assessments. 

Amy Penney

Psychologist

Amy began working with Mudgee Psychology in 2012. She utilises an integrative treatment approach using evidence based therapies.

 

Amy has a special interest in assisting adults and teens with depression and anxiety disorders (e.g. social anxiety, OCD, generalised anxiety, PTSD), Grief and loss, Sleep disorders, and assisting those with personality disorders (e.g. Borderline Personality Disorder).

Amy is warm, approachable and respectful and has a strong passion for helping individuals affect positive outcomes including development of skills along the way. 

Marea Farley

Social Worker

Marea has over 40 years’ experience working with adults, children and young people in a variety of settings.  She has a special interest in how people develop and adapt in response to their unique life experiences from infancy to old age.  

Marea works in the areas of trauma, grief and loss, anxiety and depression, parenting, foster care and couples work.  She finds it particularly rewarding to help people develop more satisfying relationships with family, friends and colleagues and to find joy in their lives, even in the face of adversity.  

Stephanie Carrigan 

Clinical Psychologist

Stephanie is new to Mudgee Psychology and comes with extensive clinical experience in working with children, adolescents and adults. She works with evidence based therapies such as cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and family based therapy, and has particular interest in working with children and young people.

Stephanie has skills in working with anxiety, depression and anger, as well as speciality areas such as eating disorders in children and teenagers. She adopts an engaging, curious and passionate approach, working alongside clients to help them achieve their goals during difficult periods.
