Alison Nipperess

Clinical Psychologist

Alison has over 18 years experience treating mental health conditions, and has a special interest in anxiety related disorders in both adults and children. Alison has clinical expertise in assessment, diagnosis and working therapeutically with individuals adopting a range of different treatment modalities, including CBT, exposure therapies, mindfulness and ACT.

Alison has a speciality in child psychology, and works with children in areas of anxiety, OCD, trauma, childhood depression, self-harm, sleep issues, Autism, ADHD, & behavioural difficulties. This work also involves helping parents to get to a place of calmness & strength through focused parenting strategies, relationship building and family resilience. Alison also has training and expertise in clinical diagnostic assessment & learning/ educational assessments. 


Amy Penney 

Registered Psychologist

Amy began working with Mudgee Psychology in 2012. She works with adults and teens and utilises an integrative treatment approach formulated on evidence based therapies. Amy has  extensive experience working with individuals with depression and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, and sleep disorders. She is warm, approachable and respectful and has a strong passion for helping individuals affect positive outcomes including development of skills along the way. 

Amy has a speciality in assisting those with personality disorders (e.g. Borderline Personality Disorder), working with specialised therapeutic techniques to work towards sustained life improvements. 

Amy is an accredited Victims of Crime counsellor. 


Marea Farley 

Social Worker

Marea has over 40 years’ experience working with adults and young people in a variety of settings.  She has a special interest in how people develop and adapt in response to their unique life experiences and works in the areas of trauma, grief and loss, anxiety and depression.

Marea also works with couples for relationship counselling. This work often involves a combination of joint sessions and individual sessions to best understand the relationship dynamics and issues and work towards repairing relationships or building stronger relationship connections. 

Marea finds it particularly rewarding to help people develop more satisfying relationships with family, friends and colleagues and to find joy in their lives, even in the face of adversity.  

Corrin Kelly 

Provisional Psychologist

Corrin works with children, adolescents and adults providing CBT therapy interventions and counselling support. Corrin is skilled in building skills for managing life's difficulties, utilising a client centred  and compassionate approach. She is experienced in helping people improve skills such as effective communication, stress management, problem solving and goal setting to support their health and wellbeing.

Corrin also works with children and adopts a a family focussed approach, building parenting skills alongside working with children to improve social and emotional functioning.



Danielle Bacich 

Provisional Psychologist

Danielle is empathetic and client centred in her approach, she enjoys collaborating with children, adolescents and adults to improve mental health and provides treatment in areas such as depression and anxiety.

Danielle works collaboratively with clients in clarifying their goals and building necessary skills and strategies. She draws from evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ACT and mindfulness based therapies, to assist individuals achieve their goals and overcome difficulties they may be facing. When working with children Danielle ensures a child-friendly space and adapted therapeutic approaches to counselling. 

In addition to counselling and treatment interventions, Danielle conducts cognitive and educational assessments. 



Stephanie Carrigan 

Clinical Psychologist

Stephanie has extensive clinical experience in working with children, adolescents and adults. She works with evidence based therapies such as cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and family based therapy, and has particular interest in working with children and young people.

Stephanie has skills in working with anxiety, depression and anger, as well as speciality areas such as eating disorders in children and teenagers.

Stephanie adopts an engaging, curious and passionate approach, working alongside clients to help them achieve their goals during difficult periods. 


Linley Rocha-Shaw

Provisional Psychologist

In addition to her training in psychology Linley brings experience in working with young children and families in other fields. At Mudgee Psychology Linley works with adults, adolescents and children using evidence based therapies such as cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). Linley has a highly empathic approach to her counselling style and is effective in collaborating with clients to improve mental health functioning.

In her counselling work with children Linley adopts both child-friendly-CBT and play therapy to build skills for emotion regulation, social functioning as well as resolve issues relating to bullying, low mood and anxiety.
